Giant Leap Forward for SaveBigEasy.org!!!

A big step toward protecting New Orleans from future hurricanes has occurred. I will be traveling to New Orleans for meetings with Congressman Bobby Jindal (R-LA) and a high-ranking member of U.S. Senator David Vitter's (R-LA) staff. We will be discussing what a potential bill in Congress will look like, a timetable for its proposal, and a strategy to ensure its success.

With the start of hurricane season and the approaching midterm elections in Congress, now is the time to make the case for New Orleans in front of the nation. Now more than ever, we need you to spread the word about SaveBigEasy.org's petition and the need for Category 5 hurricane protection and more effective flood protections.
